According to Styleist.com, Kate Middleton is due to wear not one, but two designer gowns on her wedding day this forthcoming April (29, 2011).
Apparently fashion designer Bruce Oldfield has let slip that the Princess in waiting is due to wear two gowns instead of the traditional one, making this a wedding event not to miss. He stated on “Good Morning America” that Kate may walk down the aisle in a more conservative number, and then change for the evening reception which is due to be hosted by her future father-in-law Prince Charles. “There will be two dresses,” he stated unquestionably.
But how does he know? During, the interview he told ABC correspondent Elizabeth Vargas that the dress will have ‘sleeves’, and acted like a man who had inside knowledge of the palace’s wedding closet, sparking even more controversy around the royal wedding.
Describing the bride-to-be as a “slim, gorgeous” down-to-earth woman, who is “just an ordinary girl who happened to bag the big one.” He also added that a veil is set to be worn alongside the dress.
However, speculation has been in over drive since Kate’s mother Carole, and sister, Pippa, were spotted in Bruce’s London dress shop a few weeks back.
But if you really want to know what designer, or style, Middleton is wearing then your best bet is to camp outside the palace doors…
