It was more the case of Catwoman than Batman at PPQ yesterday evening as the design duo Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker showed off Mickey Mouse inspired hats which grew proportionally bigger by the end of the show.

Alongside the ‘cats’ on the catwalk were an array of front row A-list guests which ranged from Jamie Winston and Jo Wood, to Paloma Faith and Kimberley Walsh (fresh from Ashley Isham). Disgraced MP Derek Conway’s son Henry also made a camera-flash appearance, alongside presenter Caroline Flack, DJ Jodie Harsh and the curious plastic woman/man – complete with plastic dog and bag in tow.
Once the stars had taken their seats models tottered down the catwalk to show-off a palette of grey, white, black and purple pieces which were great for longevity and accessible for everyday wear. Wool dresses with velvet patches, tailored shirts and a few coil-springed prints were shown but nothing outrageous – which was once PPQ’s stamp.
The most fabulous thing about the show though was the accessories. Large perspex bangles in clear and white, ball clutch bags (worn as necklaces), alongside knee-high boots with lace trims and suede court shoes with similar ruffles. I’ll definitely be placing my order soon…
