Fashion and beauty icon Dame Elizabeth Taylor has died today in LA aged 79.
The double-award winning Oscar actress who was being treated for ‘symptoms of congestive heart failure’, and it seems to have taken its toll on the iconic star who died earlier surrounded by her four children at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
One of the biggest movie stars to date, Taylor starred in array of hits, but is probably best known for her role in Cleopatra (1963), where her initial glamour-puss look came from. As well as being a talented actress she was infamously known for being married 8 times to 7 different men who included Richard Burton and Conrad Hilton, Jr.
Her death has come as a massive shock to the celeb community with a mixed bag of stars such as Dita Von Teese, Kim Kardashian and Boy George all posting their condolences on Twitter earlier today.
Our thoughts and prayers are of course with her family now; RIP Liz.
