Lanvin launches children’s wear line
From Gucci to River Island, in the past few years children’s wear has gone high-end and bling, and seems to be cropping up at every major label in-house and on the high street. So, it comes as no surprise after the major success combination of Lanvin and H&M last season, that this super luxury brand will also be launching its first ever children’s wear collection.
The debut children’s wear line will be launched in November 2011 for spring/summer 2012. The collection will consist of 25 pieces that includes dresses, T-shirts, coats, jumpers and accessories for girls aged 4 to 10, and will be sold in 80 Lanvin stores worldwide.

Tracey Emin exhibits at the Louis Vuitton New Bond Street Maison
Avant-garde artist Tracey Emin has launched a new collection of pieces which are being exhibited at the new Louis Vuitton Bond Street Maison Exhibition Space, to coincide with the opening of Love is What You Want at the Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre. The Exhibition will open on May 18, 2011 and will be Emin’s first major solo exhibition in a London institution, and is being supported by Louis Vuitton.
As well as several limited edition pieces, including one made exclusively for Vuitton, Emin has made 50 edition hand-rolled, and stitched, silk scarves entitled Sex 21 Sydney. Each scarf will be sold with a label certificate, signed and numbered by the artist.

Mulberry launches a book
To carry on the festivities of celebrating their 40th birthday, luxury label Mulberry are launching a book. The 480-page fly on the wall journal shows off the brands heritage past, and public and private life from beginning to present.
Taking nearly three years to create this archive shows never before seen images and the quintessential life behind Mulberry’s doors. Images include shots at their Somerset factory, access to the Mulberry team, shops, shows and celebrity parties thrown, and a real insight into this historical brand.
It also shows amazing shots of Mulberry’s Creative Director Emma Hill, alongside the brand’s regular collaborators such as Edward Enninful, Sam McKnight and Pat McGrat, and includes a round up of celebrity A-list shots of Alexa Chung, Kelis, Erin O’Conor, Olivia Palermo and Gemma Arterton.
The book will be launched on May 4, 2011, and will be available to buy in store and online from mulberry.com.
