Backed up chauffeur driven Maserati cars adorned Walton Street yesterday evening as the A-list elite, plus fashion guests, turned up to show their support to designer Nina Naustdal.
As guests nibbled on canapés and drank rose champagne Stylist-at-large took the opportunity to nose around whilst hanging out with the very friendly and fabulous Jessica Moor and Nick Knowles. Jessica who had decided to wear one of Naustdal’s latest designs to the event shared her favourites of the collection and chatted alongside actress Annie Cooper, who also looked just as stunning.
Taking inspiration from precious stones – Naustdal’s dazzling yet entirely unique dresses came across as complete show stoppers, costing thousands to create. The Norwegian womenswear designer’s first collection featured an array of cocktail dresses and gowns in fluid, jewel-toned Italian silks; glittering with hundreds of individually hand-applied Swarovski crystals. The dresses seemingly evoked the splendour of fine jewellery with dramatic yet feminine silhouettes in a rich colour palette of caramel, gold, ruby-red, amethyst, sapphire blue and emerald-green. However, they are definitely more suited to taller model types such as Naustdal.
After the launch VIP guests left the Nina Naustdal Couture store with a goody bag sponsored by Elemis and the MakeUp Store, and headed to private member’s club Annabel’s for dinner.
