Even more fabulous than Amanda Holden’s silk, full length, crystal encrusted dress yesterday evening, was Ant & Dec’s opening jibe to main judge Simon Cowell.
Cowell, who has been in the USA for quite some time filming other projects, returned to the score of Superman, lapping up the attention from fellow Brit judges and guests as the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals started off.
As he took a seat Gordie comic duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly motioned to him saying ‘Simon, can you understand my accent?’, which Dec then repeated swiftly. Simon simply chuckled and denied all knowledge of their questioning adding only ‘Moving on swiftly…’
This must come as a massive blow to Cheryl Cole, if she was watching, as it has already been announced that she is to be replaced not only in the US on American X-Factor by Nicole Scherzinger, but also by N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, and Kelly Rowland for the UK series, with Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow.
However, the live BGT semi-final carried on regardless with fellow judges Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff adding entertainment all night long.
To end the results show the amazing 12 year od singer Ronan Parke, and pianist Paul Gbegbaje made it through to the finals on Saturday night.
