For those of us who are in the know tomorrow is officially Valentine’s Day, so, with this in mind I have troweled through the internet and high street stores looking for inspirational shopping ideas so your better half doesn’t have to.
As with every VD clichés such as chocolates, perfumes, red roses and heart-shaped paraphernalia would be most welcome as always but thinking outside the box really counts. Therefore if you’re beau loves extreme sports or dangerous liaisons then why not treat her to an experience day, or if she collects shoes then why not treat her to a voucher from Upper Street Shoes where she can design her own pair with a set cash limit from yourself.
If she is more interested in cooking then sign her up for something fun and interesting such as Jamie Olivier’s cookery school where you can both go together and have a fun day out. However, and this is very important, do NOT say anything as stupid as “you like cooking so I thought you might like to learn how to do it properly”: enough said…
Lastly if you are thinking of popping the question then take inspiration from designers such as Susannah Lovis; whom has designed engagement rings for the likes of Martine McCutcheon and Emma Bunton, Goldsmiths jewellers and Mastercut Diamond for that perfect flawless modern, or vintage, engagement ring.
