Chime For Change: Female Powerhouse Plays To A Packed Stadium

We all love donating to a good cause and what better than watching our favourite female powerhouse singers rocking Twickenham Stadium for a night of change.

On Saturday evening a 50,000 strong crowed was rocked by an amazing line-up of A-list performers that included Jennifer Lopez (who managed to keep her crotch covered this time), Florence Welch, Madonna, Rita Ora and Jessie J amongst others.

Speaking emotionally to the crowd on the night Beyoncé noted “Because of you all, we have raised more than $4 million,” adding “Women’s rights, it’s something that has always been something close to my heart. I know now – being a mother – it is really important that I can do what I can and use my voice.”

Aside from rocking hit tunes such as ‘Crazy In Love’ – where she was joined on stage by hubby rapper Jay-Z to a roar of cheers – Queen Bey herself also encouraged fans via Twitter yesterday to “Tune in now to NBC #ChimeforChange benefit concert. I am honored to be part of this great initiative for the empowerment of all women!”

Bey also dispelled pregnancy rumours as she squeezed into a super tight sexy leather leotard and sheer ensemble for the routine.

And it wasn’t just Beyoncé who headed to the stage; starlets including Ryan Reynolds and new wife Blake Lively alongside James Franco and Jessica Chastain also took time out to appear in front of the packed auditorium. Lets just hope the fans who were listening were also donating just as much…
