H&M launch The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo collection

CEO’s at H&M must be feeling sky-high this season as not only have they instrumentally been responsible for causing the biggest fashion frenzy in London probably this year (Donatella Versace adorning their Regent Street branch) when they launched their H&M collaboration with Versace but after a hugely successful year they then announced that they were going to top it all and produce a collection with Marni for spring 2012 which left us mere fashion mortals salivating at the thought.

But it seems you can’t stop a workhorse, so in true H&M stye this week they have divulged that they have set in motion their very first film collaboration which is being sold in stores from 14 December 2011.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo collaboration is set to bring us an array of slouchy vests, leather trousers, skinny jeans, slim-fit hoodies and jackets alongside battered baseball boots portraying the anti-heroine character of Lisbeth Salander. Not only does David Fincher’s forthcoming film collection show off industrial shades of black and grey mixed with white and red but to also ensure it’s authenticity H&M also brought on board the film’s actual costume designer Trish Summerville.

The 30-piece collection was debuted exclusively at Colette in Paris last week; the collection will be available in-store and online from next Wednesday.
